I don't know if it's possible to love this recipe any more than I already do. WOW! The aroma, the texture, everything. MAKE THIS DRESSING. And don't just save it for Thanksgiving.

This was a great cornbread stuffing recipe. My family made this for our early Thanksgiving last night and it was fabulous. I used a cornbread mix because of time and did not cook the mushrooms but added them to the mix before adding the hot stock. I also added a cube of butter. This was both sweet and savory. I loved the apple addition. I will make it again.....maybe the sausage version I saw on Ree's blog today

Made this for for Thanksgiving this year, definitely a little extra work, but worth it! It was delicious, the bread still held its shape (ie, did not get extremely soggy, and it had great flavor. We had a few people ask for a copy of this recipe.

Loved this recipe, we halved it and had it for Thanksgiving this year. Flavor combinations of the ingredients make for a great dressing recipe. Highly recommend!

Great recipe! My wife isn't a mushroom fan, so I substituted leeks for the mushrooms and it was still excellent.

Great recipe that I will be serving this Thanksgiving.
To the "detective" from Kansas (dorothyntoto, I urge you to peruse "The Pioneer Woman" blog and educate yourself perhaps avoiding further embarrassment to your sour/envious disposition.

Can't wait to try this recipe! It looks fantastic--sweet, salty, savory, aromatic...wonderful combination of flavor elements and textures! Ree's blog really is fun--it's down home and down to earth, as are the recipes (which I've had great luck with so far. The site required a rating, so as I'm waiting till Thanksgiving to make it, my rating is based on anticipation!

I liked this dressing recipe, I do not like soft and gluey dressing. I'm surprised Dorothyntoto has such a bee in her bonnet! Rhee's sense of humor and tongue in cheek style crack me up almost everytime.

Pioneer Woman is fantastic! you shouldn't judge someone just on their stuffing recipe. I agree that it might not be the best recipe in the world, but that doesn't make her a bad person. You should check out her blog, it's great! Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!
