I always have put grape tomatoes in my quiche recipe, and have for years, it makes it sooo awesome. This is a really delicious Quiche with the sage in the sausage, YUM! I did not use the baking soda...and it was fine without. I am confused as to why it is even used in this recipe, though, for I never heard of using it in Quiche. I love all of Trish's recipes...a southern cook for sure! !

Great recipe! I love eggs and tomatoes, but never thought to add them to a quiche. Used link sausage (didn't have bulk and added dried sage. I also added about 1/2 c milk to egg mixture. YUM!

Not too bad. Needed some spice. Second time I made it, added diced onion to the sausage and added some siracha hot sauce to the eggs. Also added a bit more sage as well as some basil to the egg mixture. Used 1/4 cup cream to mix into eggs. Excellent..

My family loved this recipe! Although, I will admit that I was a little confused by the recipe.......did it really mean to read no liquid added to the eggs? I made the egg mixture ahead of time/night before and I may not recommend that for it was very dry the next day. I added a couple more eggs and some milk and it was lovely!
But, I'd like to know if others experienced this rather thick ingredient mixture with out the liquid? I watched the episode where she made this and her mix didn't resemble mine, even at the onset of making it.
What did I do wrong?

I loved it. I also halved the recipe and I've made it twice already (in 3 days. The second time I made it, I used half pork sausage and half bacon. It was great.

Great recipe!!! I've made it several times now and it's always a hit. I threw in some green onions with the sausage while it was browning. Go Trisha!!!
