I just made this quiche and it was so delicious. However, I did half the recipe because it is only me and my boyfriend. My pork sausage didn't have sage in it so I added fresh sage to it, which I think put it over the top I also added green peppers and onions. My only con is I wish now that I doubled the recipe and made 2 quiches.

Very good. I halved the recipe and added a yellow bell pepper that I needed to use up. Will definitely make again.

Happened to stumble upon this when it aired Saturday.. thought to myself "I have all of those things.. and i have been waiting to get rid of those frozen sausages and the leftover pie crust from thanksgiving"

I halved the recipe to make just one pie since it's just me and my boyfriend, used chopped bell pepper and red onion in place of tomatoes and sautéed them in the pan after cooking the meat. I also added an extra egg cause the mixture seemed a little dry and topped with some shredded mozzarella cheese that i had on hand. It was very good, glad i got to use up some old ingredients that had been sitting around. I probably won't make again but we'll see if i acquire any extra pie crusts in the future. :

Nice !! My husband was impressed !!! I substituted the pork sausage with turkey sausage. Because I made 2 quiche pies, I had leftovers for the next day. Simple directions -- simple cooking. Thank you !!

I had seen Trisha Yearwood preparing this recipe on the Talk, I had all the ingredients on hand so I went ahead and made it that day. It sure was a hit! I sent one home to my mom & dad, they loved it- said it was "the best they ever had". I am sending the recipe to my mom this morning.
I used two deep pie crusts which and found there wasn't enough to make a nice full pie. Better to double the ingredients or make just one. I have one of Trisha Yearwood's cookbooks and would strongly recommend as there are some great traditional, at home recipes!

Really liked this Country Quiche. Used a deep dish pie crust instead of two regular though. My husband liked it to. Will keep watching to see what else Trisha makes up. Thanks!

I really like this recipe! The only thing I changed was I added 3 more eggs and about 8 oz of cheese. I used what I had on hand which was mozerella and it still tasted great. We ate one pie one day and the other the next for breakfast. I used Jonses sausage with the mild spices in it. I think that made a flavor difference.

Right after show I went to grocery and made recipe. It was a big hit. Tasty and easiest quiche recipe I have. Best luck with new show with more recipes like this one it will satisfy any cook anywhere. Can it be halved?

My husband went back for seconds! This is a big deal since he is a picky eater and this is quiche. When Trisha said that men will eat her Country Quiche...she wasn't kidding!

I made the healthier version...and used ground chicken instead of turkey. Added some rubbed sage and used grated white Italian cheeses made from 2% milk. Since I used egg whites and white cheese, I added a few extra cherry tomatoes for some color. It was delicious and I will be adding this to my permanent collection! Thanks, Trisha and congratulations on your cooking show! :-
