This frosting was very easy to make, however, I did the same thing that Barbara in Reno did, and doubled the recipe, but used less sugar. It was too sweet with all four cups of sugar, so I added another 8oz of cream cheese. This gave it that 'classic' cream cheese flavor, and it was just sweet enough.

I used strawberry cream cheese...a little less butter and a half cup less sugar refrigerate for half and hour and perfection!

I made this icing and it was very good, light and creamy. I added fresh chopped strawberries and chocolate chips to mine and it turned out GREAT!!!

At first I didn't like the prominent taste of Powdered sugar, but after some time in the fridge (a few hours it tasted a lot better. I think the icing absorbed the sugar over time.
