This soup was super easy to make and tasted great. I used fat free sour cream and only 1/2 of what the recipe recommended. It tasted great. The asparagus flavor came through with a punch. It went great with the herbed bread also featured on this show. The two combined were a huge hit!

We made this soup using fat free sour cream and oh boy was it sooooooooooo fantastic!!!!!! That makes this soup sooooo figure friendly and diet conscious while keeping it sikly smooth and creamy! We literally were addicted to it and had it for left overs and snacks! Its great over a baked potate too! You can probably add sqaures of potatoe to it also. We used cayanne pepper and balck pepper in our bowls and they just rounded this soup out perfectly. Tonight we are making it using broccoli...I hope it just as good! I loved how sunny mentioned we can make this oup with any veggie!

No one in my house eats Asparagus but me so I made 1 bunch and it was so good. This is goof for a winter day or if you're out and about, it can go into your thermal.

    Thanks Sunny!

This soup was delicious! I tasted it after pureeing, but before adding the sour cream and it was so good at that point that I debated whether or not to add the sour cream. It was already creamy and yummy. So I decided to add only half the sour cream stated in the recipe and it was just right. Also added a splash of lemon juice which brought out the flavors even more. Definitely making this soup again--so easy. I think I'll try the recipe again and substitute broccoli for the asparagus.

My wife and I saw her show this morning and we were salivating watching her make this recipe. I hardly ever cook but decided to try this recipe and cook for my family. It doesn't get much easier than this recipe for the soup and flatbread together. My family was really suprised when they tasted it. If I can make something this easy and tasty then anyone can. Thanks Sunny!

i seen her make it today and had some asparagus getting old in my fridge, so i thought i would use it up.... this soup is so good, nothing too fancy but if u like asparagus you will love it! i added some fresh lemon thyme and a little cilantro from my herb garden... made it even better : and i like how she commented on using this same base for other veggies, i might just have to try that!

I got really lucky and had everything I needed to make this soup. My grocery store had a great deal ($.88 a pound! on asparagus last night so I bought some, planning on grilling it. However, after seeing Sunny's show this morning, I just had to make the soup. I love that sour cream is what makes it a "cream" soup. I did use regular sour cream, but believe it would be just as good with a lower fat sour cream...but I probably wouldn't go so far as to use fat-free.

I used a hand-held, immersible blender instead of putting the soup in a blender (I despise cleaning my big blender. Because of this, I didn't let the soup cool as it recommends to do before blending in a regular blender. I think it was a little too hot still when I added the room-temperature sour cream, which resulted in it not being quite as smooth as it should be. It did not, however, effect the taste...which is REALLY yummy.

This is a simple, but very flavorful soup. I'm going to go fix myself another bowl right now. :
