This dish would be so much better with a lot less nutmeg! The only thing i could taste was the nutmeg, i think without it it would be great.

This is a GREAT recipe, which I highly recommend, as long as you reduce the salt! My husband has to watch his blood pressure, so after one bite, he was afraid to eat any more. I'd try using just one teaspoon of salt in the saucepan and none in the spinach. Where it directs you to season with salt and pepper at the end--TASTE FIRST.

I think with a reduction of salt - 2 teaspoons is way to much - this creamed spinach will be fantastic. I'm very disappointed that it's so salty I can't eat it. But I'm going to try to put it on a baked potato and see if that cuts the salt a bit.

This creamed spinach was so delicious and easy to make. The touch of
nutmeg was a perfect complement to the dish. I know everyone will love it
at the Thanksgiving Dinner party tomorrow.
