Oh my.. if your going to eat catfish- honey- just fry it. This was bad.. really bad.. I followed the recipe to a T - and wouldn't serve it after it was finished baking. Get your catfish with hushpuppies at your local "fried" establishment. you'll thank me.

It's simple and easy to prepare. Definitely add seasoning to the corn meal. To give the fish that crispy feel, about 13 minutes into cooking, I upped the temperature to 450 and placed the baking sheet on the highest shelf in the oven.

This recipe looked so great on TV but
it didn't taste as great. It was OK. I just don't think the corn flake crumbs work well with the fish. Maybe panko bread crumbs would have worked better?

Quck and delicious. My husband who is from Mississippi and ate a lot of catfish growing up enjoyed it so much that I got a big kiss.

Being from the South I know the meaning of good catfish. This recipe was highly dissapointing. I am not sure where to start, but I can say if you decide to make this meal read the reviews first. Corn Flakes not good, stick to the premixed fish fry(Zatarains. Either my oven is off on temp, or the cook time and temp are off. I reccomend 400. Did all of the spraying and foil, still stuck. All I can say is it looked better on TV, but what doesn't. Hope this is helpful, next time I will do it my way.

Very tasty & very easy. Ignore "horribly bad" - she doesn't know what she is talking about.

This was very simple and very worth it. This was not super spicy though - I kind of expected the spices to kick it up a bit - and if that is what you want I would add them to your cornflakes as well as the buttermilk - but the catfish comes out dreamily - absolutely perfect - & it couldn't be simpler.
