I whipped these up the other morning. They were very easy to make. My son said they were the best biscuits. I liked the corn meal.

These came out great but they lose their crispness. I let completely cool and put in ziploc bag to bring to work. They were soft and moist, which changed the taste of the biscuit, butter and salmon.

Next time I think I'd serve with some creme fraiche and smoked salmon or with some garlic aioli and proscuitto.

The biscuits were very delicious, love the Parmesan cheese in them.
And as for the "Terri" comment. People get over it, that comment was made in February of last year. Obviously she doesn't care what you guys have to say. She probably hasn't even checked this recipe since.Grow up please.

Best I have ever made! Thank you Giada. Teri, get a life! You must be absolutely jealous and living a misable life. Maybe you should find a bubble to live in.

I had a unexpected visit by my grandmother and aunt. I was not prepared for entertaining and I only had spagetti sauce and pasta in my pantry. I just ate spagetti, and did not want any more. So I made Chicken Penne but did not have anything to go with it. Giada to the rescue. I made these biscuits and my Aunt and Grandmother demolished them. They were asking for more; They even wanted the recipe. As for Giada's cleveage who cares. If you got it, show it. If Giada decided to bare all its her decision. Just as long as she keep rocking her recipes I'm all for it.

Please don't ever go to Europe, because you won't make it. Just keep you and the kids blindfolded and I'm sure you'll have a great time. I haven't even tried this recipe yet but with all the other great reviews I will try it.

AND REMEMBER THE NEXT TIME U CRITICIZE SOMEONE ABOUT THERE JOBS SHE WORKS REALLY HARD TO DO WHAT SHE DOES NOT TO BE BROUGHT DOWN BY A COMMENT AS STUPID AS YOURS AND FURTHERMORE I HOPE U LIGHTEN UP A LITTLE BECUZ THE THINGS U SAY TO UR CHILDREN MAY HAVE A GREAT EFFECT ON THEIR SELF ESTEEM ITS PEOPLE LIKE U WHO MAKE COMMENTS THAT MAKE OTHERS FEEL ASHAMED THAT SHOULDNT BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have made these biscuits 5-6 times now, and my parents love them! The first time I tried this recipe, I followed it exactly and found my biscuits to not rise and were also quite salty. I changed the Parmesan cheese that I was using to a better quality one and also handled the biscuits 'less' when shaping them. This seemed to fix the problems I had the first time I tried this recipe. I found that if I just let it barely come together they seemed to rise a lot better in the oven than having over handled them. Hopefully, this may help the other commentors who said their biscuits didn't rise--perhaps you handled it too much? Also, I've now since cut the addition of salt to this recipe since I think the salt in the Parmesan is enough. Other than that, I still follow this recipe exactly and it's great! Thank you Giada! (=

These are fabulous! love em! try them out you won't be disappointed.

(HEY TERRI FROM SONORA CA-- Are you kidding me??? No one wants to hear people ranting and raving about things like cleavage. People come on to read reviews about the recipe and I'm sure others can agree with me that we like her cleavage! She's pretty and if you got it flaunt it, right Giada!I I think it's a joke that some women are"offended" by their kids seeing stupid innocent things like a woman's cleavage on TV! If you dont feel that watching Giada on the food network is appropriate viewing for your children then you all should be living in a glass bubble away from society. Stick to rating the recipes and stop bringing down the ratings and discrediting these professional chefs. She is professional and is not showing too much at all!
I love you Giada you go girl!
