NUTRITION INFO
Ingredients
  • 6 ounces pepperoni, thinly sliced
Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Lay the pepperoni slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Remove the pan from the oven and soak up the excess grease by pressing paper towels against the pepperoni chips. Return the pan to the oven and bake an additional 2 to 4 minutes, until the pepperoni slices are very crispy.

Serve as a snack anytime or use in place of crackers for dipping or for topping with your favorite cheese! They'll stay fresh and crispy for 1 to 2 days if you store them in an airtight container.

HORRIBLE! Burnt to a crisp @ 10 mins. Even the dogs wouldn't eat them. So burnt they fell apart as I tried to take them off the pan
Good, but I have a lot of the same comments that others have. At 8 minutes, these are a little overdone for me, much less adding additional time. They do end up spicier after baking and are a little overwhelming. I too think that salami may be a good substitution, but it may need cutting into quarters to get crispy. Great idea that I need to tweak a little.
    Great low carb snack!
    Awesome replacement for potato chips!
Great low carb chip along with soooo many possibilities...salad topper, add to scrambled eggs, the ideas are endless!! Thank you George!!
    Awesome
Excellent! Use them for dipping instead of chips! Cooked them in a frying pan for a few minutes on each side to crisp them up. Luv em!
How many calories per serving are they for the beef pepperoni
This was a great idea! I used pre-sliced turkey pepperoni for a low carb and low calorie treat. It is fantastic with dip.
    What a great treat!
The low carb life style is wonderful but lacks in "special munchies"...this is the BEST!!! I just read the recipe and had to try it...I'm soooo glad I did. Microwaving is the way to go...I too used a stack of paper plates and 5 layers of paper towels...after 30 seconds on high, I blotted...after another 15 I blotted again....worked great.
The microwave method of cooking these is absolutely the way to go! I sandwich 20 slices between (alot of) paper towels and pop them in the microwave for 1:45...and presto! Perfectly crisped every time. I shared these with the girls at work and now we have a constant stash of pepperoni and paper towels! Quick and easy for those afternoon pick me ups.
I made these one night when I had a surprise family get together. It wa sfantastic, everyone loved them and they took just a few minutes to make.
I <3 these but what i do is not cook them for the whole time...just so the outside is crusty and the inside is soft.
    I just love these chips.
These are a great snack even if you're not doing low-carb. I found the recipe called for the chips to cook a little too long, so after I shortened that they turned out perfect.
I'm on my 5th batch of regular and 1st batch of Turkey Pepperoni. This is a major hit at home and at work! Tastes great - the spices really hit the spot
i was surprised to see so many positive reviews. Nobody seemed to like these, even after I experimented with different lengths of cooking times.

We ended up throwing the majority of them away.
Instead of using the oven, I put a couple paper towels on a plate with the pepperoni on top and put them in the microwave for about a minute and a half.
Blot them with another paper towel when they come out and that's it!
They are crispy with no waiting for the oven time and no smoke.
     Couldn't be easier.
The low carbers I prepared this for loved it.
Really yummy! I looovvvvee pepperoni, so I decided to give this a try. Really good! Thank you!
These are great. I have found Hormel Pepperoni makes the best chips. Store brands tend to be too thick and greasey.
These chips were nothing to write home about and too salty to boot.
GODD FOR SNACKING AND FOR USE IN DIPS
Both my kids and myself love them. They don't stay around long in my house!
    yummy, yummy, yummy
I felt that the pepperoni were a little salty. They are ok to use to dip into salsa if you need something crunchy. I wasn't that impressed.
If I could use more than 5 stars I would. These are fabulous!!! My only complaint and it isnt really a complaint is that it is very very hard not to eat them all!!! Thanks for a wonderful, quick, easy low carb snack!
I have only one complaint.... There are few to none leftover to snack on later!

Spicier than I anticipated, still wonderful.

Very tastey, perhaps I will try the turkey ones next since we always finish the entire batch!
If you are worried about the fat, we tried this with turkey pepperoni because that's all we had in the house, and it came out fantastic - still no carbs but with much lower fat. I think making these will be on our weekly "to-do" list.
