I made this for a potluck tonight and it was gone in a flash. I may never go back to my old stove top recipe, this was much easier! I will add a bit of yellow prepared mustard and some adobo seasoning for more kick but the recipe as posted is excellent as is.

If I could rate this higher than a 5 I would. It was way over the top. Mac n Cheese has always been a comfort food for me and finding a really good recipe isn't easy. I watched this on Trish's new show and just couldn't get it out of my head. So I made a few days later and I have to say it is the best hands down mac n cheese I have ever had or made. It made a nice sized pan of it but that did not last in my family of 6 for leftovers. Infact, people were waking up looking for it in the morning.. LOVE this one. One thing I might add is that I beat the eggs and added all seasonings and liquids in a bowl before adding to the macaroni and the cheese. Nothing curdled. It even looked scrumptous when I took it out of the oven. People were gathering and hovering : Thank you Trisha.

I made Trisha's mac n cheese tonite and it came out delicious!!!! It was the best I ever had! My crockpot runs hot so I only cooked it on low for 2 1/2 hours then on warm for 1 1/2 hours and then I let it sit in the crockpot for and hour to settle and It was great!!!! I will be making this again!

I've wanted to make this recipe since I saw it on Trisha's cooking show. I mixed it all up then couldn't find my crockpot--I think I lent it out--so I baked it in the oven and it turned out wonderfully! My family isn't keen on sharp cheddar so I used mild, which was a good substitute considering the large amount of cheese in the recipe could have been a bit overwhelming. To those whose eggs "curdled", I used a whisk on the eggs then added the milk a little at a time to guarantee it was thoroughly mixed. This type of casserole does have a different texture than mac & cheese made with a cheese sauce but mine wasn't unappealing. Just a warning through; it's very cheesey so you might want to cut back on the 5 cups called for.

I saw the show on Saturday where Trisha made this while her friend was in town, and decided I had to try it. We had it for dinner Sunday night, and it is sooooooooo good!!! The macaroni and cheese is so creamy and delicious that you have to have seconds. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe! :

OMG !! The secrets in the evaporated milk!! Who knew? Maybe our mothers or grandmothers - huh? Tasty and creamy. Maybe others had a problem with the temperatures in their crocs. Such is the case in many recipes. Not all crocs are equal. Newer crocs are hotter. Even same brands vary. So, give this recipe a chance in the oven maybe. That's my next move. Loved it and seeing Trish!

Easy with rave reviews. I didn't cook the macaroni all the way through and let it cool for at least 30 mins. My Daughter loves it. A keeper.
