    Wont be trying this again .not good at all !! The sharp cheese was too tart, not enough seasonings a mushy mess, now I have to brush my teeth .YUKKK .Please baked it in the oven

    Given the ingredient list, I knew before I started that this was probably not going to turn out well. I'm an excellent cook, followed directions exactly, used high quality ingredients & this turned out disgusting. my 2 & 4 year old kids looked at it funny knowing it wasn't right & they were less than thrilled with taste. The fat bomb went into the trash. The egg "cooks" and gives it a curdled appearance (as others mentioned, the dish is greasy with fat floating on top, just all wrong. The Pioneer Woman has a way better recipe.

    Made this recipe on Saturday right after watching the show - it turned out awesome! Loved it, my family loved it and I will be making it again. So long hot oven in the summer time.... welcome crock pot.

    My entire family loved this Crock Pot Mac and Cheese, it is awesome!!! There is a big problem with it though....Don't make the mistake that I did and taste test it before it is done, I did this and found that I had to go back every 15-20 minutes to taste it again...I was so addicted and surprised that there was enough left to serve for dinner!!!!

    Made this and it was mushy and not very flavorful. I was really disappointed because it looked so good. I will stick to the recipe I make in the oven.

    I just tried this recipe tonight and it's delish! I didn't have elbow macaroni on hand, so I used a 1lb. box of rigatoni. The ridged, tube pasts, held on to the cheese sauce wonderfully. I will definitely add this recipe to my go to stack.

    Trisha has been my favorite singer for decades; I was so disappointed to hear that she was starring in a cooking show because I knew it would mean that she would not be touring again for a while. I hesitated trying any of her recipes, but now I am so glad I did. I can now appreciate her for more than one talent!

    Fabulous! You wouldn't know that it wasn't made in the oven. I didn't realize the box had 12 oz of elbows until it was too late to tweak the recipe and I had some mozzarella (already shredded in the fridge so I added that too so I would have enough cheese. I also added some mustard since my mom did. It was absolutely wonderful. Thanks Trisha. It was so easy I will make it repeatedly since my crock has a timer it will be a regular meal.

    I ended up putting mine in the oven with some bread crumbs on top to make it nice and buttery and crispy ...this it just did not have in the crockpot unfortunately....I followed the recipe to the letter and even used a very good crockpot too....but it just was not the same....however, it was delicious and very simple to make. I think in the long run I will make this again but will repeat what I did this afternoon, placing the finished dish in the oven to crisp it up a bit....thanks Trisha for another great recipe to had to my family's list of favorites!

    I had no idea that mac and cheee would work in a crockpot, it turned out perfect.. my daughter loves mac and cheese and she loved it. This one I will do again.
