This recipe was a big hit at the Church Potluck. So simple! I did not add the water to the berries and I also used frozen berries. The juice that was from the thawed berries was enough. I served with a whip topping. Many people wanted the recipe. 5 Stars

This tastes great, but like earlier reviews I found mine watery and soggy and the dough didn't rise through thelayer of blueberries. Will take the earlier suggestion and try it in a more shallow dish. Oh well. Certainly not what I was expecting to pull out of the oven.

My family loved this. Based on other comments, I added melted butter to batter, along with some cinnamon. Increased the blueberry to 3 cups (and proportional increase in sugar and water. It was not pretty but it was delicious.

I made two blueberry cobblers, both were soggy, and a waste of good hard earn money, butter, and blueberry, this should not be on the board. NASTY!

I'm on vacation from Florida to Massachusetts and went blueberry picking yesterday. Last night I made this and it was a hit with the family. Easy to make, not too sweet and with the exception of unsalted butter had everything available. I did grease the baking dish and add the melted butter to the batter as well as a little cinnamon. Will definately make this again when I get home (with my fresh blueberries from MA.

I was looking for something simple and delicious. This hit the nail on the head on both counts. The only thing I did differently was add a little vanilla to the batter. Everything worked out just as described, took no time to prepare and even less time to eat. You just can't beat this right out of the oven with two scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. I could eat it every night.

i followed the advice of mixing some of the buttery in i did not mix the berries with the sugar and water so the cobbler came out cake like but delicious nonetheless i also added some cinnamon
