Ingredients
- 8 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 cup walnuts and pecans
- 1 medium bunch seedless red grapes, separated
- 1 medium bunch white seedless grapes, separated
Directions
Blend the blue cheese and the sour cream and place in a shallow bowl (if the blue cheese is either too thin or dry to stick to grapes, adjust sour cream and cheese amounts accordingly). In a mini-chop or food processor, coarsely chop nuts. Place nuts in a separate shallow bowl. Roll grapes in blue cheese mixture, then roll grapes in nuts. Serve with toothpicks.

These are fairly easy to make and not a usual hors d'oeuvre you see so they are a definite crowd pleaser!! Very tasty and easy to eat and serve!!

I had these recently at a party as a passed hors d'ouvre. Amazing! The ones I tried were pistachio encrusted. Exquisite ... sweet, savory, crunchy, cool, salty.

These have become a favorite for entertaining chez nous. We like the red grapes best because they're a little sweeter than the green and the contrast between the sourness of the blue cheese and the sweetness of the grapes is more pronounced.
This is s surprising appetizer that has earned the highest praise from our guests.
