My Spring Harvest Salad with Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 to 12 ounces of pasta, cooked and cooled
  • 4 ounces snow peas
  • 2 big broccoli tops
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple, cubed
  • 1 large Vidalia onion, sliced
  • 2 ribs celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • A few snips of fresh chives
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • Salad dressing

Directions

Steam snow peas and broccoli florets for about 4 minutes. Mix all ingredients together and add dressing. Chill and serve.

SALAD DRESSING:

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 1/2 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Mix ingredients, toss with salad, add salt to taste

    A waste of time and energy

    This recipe has taught me a valuable lesson, NEVER try an unrated recipe. The prep time was dramatically under rated, unless... you are using prepackaged ingredients. The final product left my house with a smell that candles wouldn't remove and leaves your mouth wanting a quick brush and a gargle with mouthwash. This is quit surprising since the food itself had no discernible taste to it. My misfortune in trying this recipe is doubled since I made a double batch for a friends party, now I am one my way to the store to buy something from the deli. But first a quick trip to the dumpster.Read more
