I made this for my dad for fathers day since this is his favorite cake. I found it a little time-consuming. It is an old fashon cake very dence not light and fluffy (which is how i have always ate it But still very delicious everyone ate it up. I am torn if it was worth all the work though.

Made this cake for company...Was wonderful and very easy to make..
Will be making this one again and again.
Came up with the idea watching the food network but this was not the recipe that was shown the day I was watching but went with it and was not disappointed! Loved the way the pineapple was carmelized and the rum and cream really give it that wonderful flavour..awesome!
