Meatloaf was nothing to brag about. Dry and dull. Tomato relish was good. Will use it with my old meatloaf recipe

The OTHER "Dad's Meatloaf" is the one you want ... do your search again! Don't make this terrible recipe!!
I was at the grocery store and was thinking "Hmmm, I haven't had really good meatloaf in a while...", so I brought up FoodNetwork on my phone and searched for "meatloaf" - and the first one that came back was this recipe. So, I got all the ingredients as listed, got home, started cooking and it wasn't until I got to the tomoato/onion relish that I noticed something was wrong -- almost no ketchup, no salt, no pepper and the amount of relish you make with this recipe is almost DOUBLE the volume of meat you put into your 9" loaf pan.
It wasn't until I was almost done cooking this recipe using my phone, that I bothered to look it up online with my laptop ... OOPS.
It looks like this recipe was written down by someone watching the show and they put it in "for" Tyler Florence ... in short ... don't make this terrible recipe. Use the other one!!!

This meal should be renamed because meatloaf just doesn't seem to cut it.

I made Tyler's meat loaf and really liked the result. The salsa topping is zesty and beatiful to look at. Even if you hate meat loaf, make this one and treat yourself to a new day. I made one change, tho, using regular pork breakfast sausage instead of plain ground pork. Very economical to make, too. Thanks Tyler!

I was looking for a twist on meatloaf, and I found it for sure. I'm not sure I will make this again because I still think I'm a fan of classic meatloaf. I would definitely recommend giving it a try though!

I changed it a little bit but not much. Instead of making the relish, I used a can of Bazil/Garlic Diced tomatoes 1/2 drained, with the ketchup and saute' onion to top this meatloaf. This saves alot of time.
