This works so incredibly. My Mama used grapefruit supremes with sliced avocado and french dressing. Only difference was pistachios instead of olives. Hadn't thought of it in years! Thanks Daisy. Loved your show "Daisy Cooks". So grateful FN brought us this show. VIVA DAISY!

I joined foodnetwork just to comment on this recipe. I use quite a bit of recipes on foodnetwork and they are all great. The reason I wanted to comment on this Avocado Grapefruit Salad is due to the explosion of flavor once it's in your mouth. I love all these ingredients and I would never think of combing them, but that's me. Maybe I'm revealing my inexperience. Anyway the saltiness of the olives ( I like to use Herbed Provance from the olive bar, and the sweet acid of the grapfruit and the butteriness of the avocado is just uncanny and awesome together. For me, this is unique. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

I made this to go with a spicy pork dish, and it was very refreshing!! Simple to make, and very fresh and lively. I didn't have the olives, so I just had the grapefruit and avocado....what a wonderful way to enjoy two of my favorite foods!! I will definitely make this again!!

My husband and I loved this easy to make, very refreshing salad. The flavors work wonderfully together. Great for every day meals but you will also be able to impress your guests at a gathering.
