Really love this recipe. Great way to flavor up some plain white rice. I make this quite often.

My family likes spinach and this recipe was a great way to incorporate it and stretch a rice dish. I served it with chicken picatta and while everyone liked it, I think I'll tweak it a little for our tastes. I didn't add garlic because I didn't feel like chopping it. I will definitely make it again, maybe throw in some onion powder & a touch of nutmeg (which enhances greens

I must say this is such a yummy rice dish for those who love spinach LIKE WE DO. Only thing i did different is use fresh spinach. I placed the fresh spinach in a large microwaveable bowl filled with water and cooked for about 6-8 minutes. I let the spinach cool then i made sure to squeeze it dry. It came out wonderful!!! Thanks Daisy for a great and easy rice dish!

I've been a fan of Daisy since her PBS days so when she came to FN you know I was happy.

This rice dish is so easy to make! The only change I made was to cut down on the oil, but you'd never know it.

This is a hit in my house and one more way to get the veggies into the family!!!

I took this to our church dinner covered dish, and it was a winner. The only alteration I did was brown rice for white rice and altered the length of time (long cooking brown rice-1 hour still was great and worked good. My husband does not normally like cooked spinach and liked this dish.

This is the Best Verde Rice (green rice that I have ever made or tasted anywhere!
However, I did make O n e Change! I Used Fresh Spinach instead of the Frozen.

I really don't think this rice was very special. It was kind of blah. I added lemon zest to it to try and jazz it up. I might make this again, but probably add crushed red pepper flakes in with the garlic. I also cut down a lot on the oil...I would probably cut it down even morel

Move over Uncle Ben's....this was the best rice ever! In the past, my rice was just ok. Lat night, I almost ate the whole pot. It was fluffy and tasty. Thank you Daisy!

Thank you Daisy! I made this rice - it was so delicious! The only change I made was to use brown rice b/c that is all that I had on hand. It was very flavorful. I made it for Valentine's Day dinner and my boyfriend loved it. I have Daisy's cookbook and absolutely love it.
