I've made this dish at least 3 times in the past 5 weeks, along with papi's grilled skirt steak also from the same episode. I absolutely LOVE potatoes, and this salad was phenomenal. I've actually never made it with the red peppers or eggs, just the potatoes and other ingredients. I love the way this recipe brings out the essence of the potato, simply seasoned with salt & pepper. I try not to make this dish often because I can eat all of the potatoes by myself (sometimes in a single sitting! It's a good thing that I only cook for two ;-
Nicely done, Daisy!

This was delicious--even if you follow the recipe to the letter. Then, of course, I had to "tweak" it ;- I placed about 4 cups Yukon Gold potatoes(unpeeled and cut into about 1 inch cubes along with a few unpeeled garlic cloves in salted water, brought to a boil, and simmered on med. heat til tender --about 8-10 minutes, tops. Drained them and sprinkled generously with rice wine vinegar. In a seperate bowl, I put 1/4-1/3 cup good olive oil, 1/4 cup each chopped flat-leaf parsley and cilantro, and some freshly-ground black pepper and 3 green onions sliced/cut cross-wise (green part included. I put the hot spuds into to bowl with the olive oil, one "jarred" roasted red pepper sliced in 1/4 inch slices, 4 quartered boiled eggs, and (yes a good fistful of crumbled bacon. Gently fold everything together. May need to sprinkle on some additional rice wine vinegar. Served it while still a bit warm. Simply put....AMAZING.

This dish was very good, it didn't look like it would be that flavorful, but it was. The vinegar and the oil really put this dish over the top. This is my new favorite potato salad. Thanks Daisy!

Fantastic recipe!! SO incredibly easy and a big wow. I loved the red new potatoes - so perfect for potato salad, I'm not sure I'll ever go back to brown. I would add 6 - 8 eggs vs. just 4 - they were a real treat. Also, add more chives and s/p. EXCELLENT.

I love the way you cook. The food is great and easy to make. Brings back memories of all the picnic we had in the hot summers of NYC.
