I didn't have cooking wine, so I substituted in grape juice. It was delicious!

What a perfect chicken recipe for that Pot Luck that we all get invited to! I left mine at the home of a friend who had recently lost a member. It was waiting for the family when they returned home from the out-of-town funeral. It was a hit, especially with the husband who ate it that night, took it to work the next day for lunch and savored some of the sauce over some rice on the 2nd or 3rd day. As a matter of fact, he demanded that his wife contact me for the recipe.

I made a couple of changes. Because I only had a few grape tomatoes on hand, I also added finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes (in oil to the tomato/onion mixture. As well, I used Marsala Cooking wine instead of red wine. Both changes gave it a lovely flavoring and color. As well, it holds up well overnight and tends to taste better on the second day!

I found this recipe by accident. Just looking for something different to make. It was very good. My kids loved it! They aren't picky, but they don't always like something new.
The wine was a little overpowering, but next time I will use less and a different type. I skipped the tomatoes b/c I didnt have any.

Great meal for company. Very easy

Looking for something different to do with chicken I found this recipe. I cut the recipe in half and used a very good bottle of red wine (a gift it took twice the cooking time in the oven. I served it over pasta and my very pickey daughter loved every bite. Will make again.

I absolutly adored this meal i made it for my family the other night and it turned out great! The only thing i changed was i did not use the tomatoes i just doubled up on the balsimic to give it more flavor and i was right. It really was a good dinner and i would def. make it again sometime.

What a bummer! With all the great reviews of this recipe I was sure dinner was going to be a hit. Was not impressed and probably will never make this again, the recipe is just average. As my husband says "It'll make a turd".

I made 1/3 of the recipe, and simmered the breasts in the sauce for a bit, took out the breast slice open in half like a pocket and spoon sauce & tomatoes in for even more flavor in every bite !

It was very nice, me & my husband enjoyed that meal. I used sweet wine, and it turned out to be great. I'll do it again for sure.

I added some more balsamic and lessened on the wine. But my wife loves this and so do I. I also used shallots instead of onion. GOOD STUFF!

Although cooking the chicken took longer than stated the dish was delicious! I served it over a salad, using the hot pan juices as a dressing. Very nice. I think next time I would cook the chicken with the sauce on the stovetop to infuse the chicken with more of the sauce's flavor. It was a hit!
