Wonderful presentation of colors .... very different from the typical fruit salads sold in the grocery stores. I prepared this a day before and added the mint - got a lot of compliments on this - they especially liked the light mint flavor in the salad. Wonderful for a brunch or bbq.

This is a great way to serve an adult fruit salad without the heavy whipped cream. My husband is from Europe and they have what they call a "boule" which is sparkling wine with fruit. This is SO much better. Can't wait for my in-laws to come over and show them the Dan and Steve version. I made this for brunch and everybody loved it!

We made this for my mother's birthday dinner and she loved it! And Mom is tough to please. I will, of course, point out that you shouldn't serve this to little kids, but a combination of some kind of berry juice with either ginger ale or lemon-lime soda (or club soda to keep the sweetness from overwhelming the fruit would work just fine for them.
