This was a very tasty recipe. I own a gas stove, so recipe times are not always consistent. I ended up baking mine about 7 minutes longer than the 40 minutes recommended. I would definitely make this again.

I have been watching Steve and Dan since they first started. I love their show. I tape it since it comes on at 1 am in Hawaii. They are a joy to watch, they make things simple and the food is the best. This recipe is a prime example. Thanks

This one is 10 stars quiche ever. I made over 10 pies because my family and friends love it. They thought I was good but I think the food network is the best. My family like vegtable so I cooked mushroom and red bell pepper with the onion and add fresh baby spinach under cheese layer. I don't like goat cheese so I substitute with NY white cheddar cheese... They are wonderful every time I made. I just finish 2 pies a minute ago. One for my friend who request and of course one for my lovely husband. Thanks again for lovely recipe.

Loved the olive & goat cheese. Will make one for the next time we do our wine school thing. Maybe make a couple extra and freeze!
So glad Dan & Steve are getting to show us these quick-to-make recipes! Good job guys!

My family ate the whole tart at one meal!! I made the Lorraine version last night for dinner and they LOVED it. I followed the recipe exactly except I used diced Prosciutto (I had some on hand and wanted to use it up instead of bacon. The carmelized onions add another layer of flavor to this dish, that I hadn't thought about before seeing you two do it. Thanks for a great show and great recipes and tips!!

I have to admit I've always been a bit intimidated to try and bake quiche, but I found the Lorraine version to be both easy to follow and extremely tasty! My only variations to taste were to omit the white pepper, cut back the salt by half (I use Kosher salt and add a little extra nutmeg. Beyond that, it was light, fluffy and very flavorful - even my finicky 9 year old son loved it! Our favorite part had to be the flavor of the dijon mustard on the crust. That was a marvelous idea and absolutely delicious to boot!
