So good. We made these for a party a couple of weeks ago and everyone LOVED them. This was my first experience with the wontons and I couldn't believe how easy it was. Everyone was so impressed that I had made these from scratch. I will definately make again.

Great party food (I made two smaller batches and in one, cut back on the curry paste for folks who like less spice. Also, I hate "frying" when I have a party and lots of other details to see to. I did as "potstickers" in my large electric skillet w/lid. Just saute on one side in a bit of oil till nicely browned on bottom; add a bit of water to develop steam, put lid on and finish cooking. Serve from the skillet.

My wontons came out great! The thai chili paste is very spicy-if you don't like things too spicy, then use 2 instead of 3 teaspoons and you will be fine. I would also garnish with scallions instead of chives (personal preference. But they were very tasty with the plum dipping sauce-Also, we steamed them instead of frying.

I made these wontons for a bridal shower and tested them on my family first. The 30 wontons I made for the party all went in the 20 minutes I offered "just 2 each, please " to my husband and mother-in-law. I had to start over for the party wontons but everyone was happy - Guinea pigs and party goers alike! Love you guys. I never miss a show. Sunday mornings nobody gets breakfast till your show is over.
