This was very good, although I couldn't get the top apple slices fully cooked, and I even sliced them smaller than 12 to an apple. I used Pillsbury ready to bake pie crust to save time, and it was good.

This was very simple and pretty good. I would prefer for it to be a little sweeter. My young adult children loved it and said it doesn't need to be any sweeter. Next time I'll try it with a little more sugar in the crust and in the filling. The presentation was beautiful. My husband said it taste kinda good. Hmmm Thank you much

I had one Pillsbury refrigerator crust ledt over from the holidays and I used it for this receipe and it was very tasty and worked great. I forgot to add the sherry, didn't add the extra liquid from the bottom of the bowl and used only 4 JanaGold apples and will DEFINITELY make this again. JanaGold is a cooking apple that is a bit sweeter than Granny Smith. Serve with some whip topping and you will be a winner with your family or guests!

This recipe was great! I really enjoyed the crust, but i doubled the dough to make two, there were plenty of apples for both. I also mixed in a little of the liquid from the bowl into the heavy cream before brushing it on, and that gave the crust a little extra flavor.VERRY GOOD!!!!!!

This simple and beautiful apple tart was a perfect ending to our dinner. For the reviewers whose tarts leaked onto the baking sheet - did you remember not to add the extra liquid that was left in the bowl with the apples? These instructions were left out of the on-line recipe but Dan mentioned it during the show.

This dessert got great reviews from my friends. The crust was the best part and it was so easy to make. However, I would recommend putting it in a pie pan because the juice from the filling leaked all over the cookie sheet.
