These guys sure know how to cook! Every recipe I have made from them is superb. This is the best recipe. My husband doesn't like stuffing, and he gobbled it up. I mean, who doesn't like breakfast sausage??

This is the best stuffng I have ever made/had! The flavors meld so well together, it's wonderful! I used a sage sausage because I love sage and wanted to make it a little more prominent in the stuffing. I also used some fresh cranberries that I chopped up and added to the saute pan with the leeks, apples, and celery. My boyfriend liked it so much, he was trying to eat it before I even had the chicken stock in it! Definitely on my "to keep" pile of recipes!

This is now added to my permanent collection! Incredibly easy and SOOOO tasty, it's really a nice change from boring old stuffing. Even my boyfriend who hates stuffing liked this!!! I made sure not to add too much stock. I added some just to coat, let it sit overnight to see if I needed more and I didn't. After baking, it had a nice crust on the top. Definitely give it a try, you and your guests will not be disappointed. One batch makes tons, it's a well rounded 13x9 pan, which of course everyone was happy to take home and eat for days!

My mother was my "sous chef" for our early Thanksgicing meal and I thought she was going to leave and go to the cafeteria when she saw the ingredients in this recipe (not to mention the turkey. But all complaints were gone once we sat down and ate. Everyone LOVED it. I did use fresh Sage from my Garden and doubled it after my Mom stated that she had better taste the sage, It's fantastic, no need to search any other recipes. BTW, I didn't use apples because I forgot to buy them.

I replaced the cranberries with wild huckleberies and left out the sausage. It turned out great

I made this recipe for my husband's work luncheon. He didn't even like half the ingredients I put in the stuffing but once he tasted it, he fell in love. I agree that you may want to add 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups of the stock becuase 2 cups did make it slightly mushy. I also made mine with maple sausage. The sausage gave it such a great flavor and aroma. I will definitley make this recipe again, it is now a tradition!

This stuffing has awesome flavor. I only made 1/2 the recipe as a trial run for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. i used dried herbs instead of fresh, but will definitely use fresh for T-Giving. Here are my changes/tweaks - added thyme, yellow onion instead of leeks, sweet Italian sausage (instead of breakfast sausage, and did not rehydrate the craisins. Used bag of Pepperidge Farms cubed bread and only needed 1 cup of broth (for 3 cups bread cubes since I halfed recipe. I will definitely make this for Thanksgiving!!

I'm a sophomore in college and made this in our tiny apartment kitchen. I didn't want to deal with leeks so I just substituted an onion. I also added sliced mushrooms. It was pretty easy to make and my 4 apartmentmates gobbled it up, they all had third helpings.

I make this stuffing every year and just love it! My family loves the combination of sausage, cranberry, and leeks. I am still working on perfecting the amount of liquid to add - mine usually comes out a little dry, but I'll try it with more chicken stock this year. I also chop my leeks instead of slicing them, so they don't end up stringy. To me, it's not Thanksgiving without this stuffing!

I used dried herbs and it still came out great. Be careful with the amount of chicken stock, the stuffing will come out mushy if you use too much. i barely needed the 2 cups stated in the recipe. luckily my family likes mushy stuffing! next time i will use less broth. very good recipe though
