Easy to make, rich and buttery and delicious. Came out very crisp as well, and the sherry aroma filled the whole kitchen.

I debated making these, because it meant having to make a trip to get the sherry from the store, but I'm so glad that I decided to go for it. These are by far the best cookies I've probably ever made! They melt in your mouth, and have a lovely under-taste that many other short breads lack. The only thing I found with this recipe is that you may want to start checking your cookies after about 22 minutes. My first batch got a little toasty. Enjoy!
