This dip is phenomenal! But the seasoned pitas overwhelm the flavor of the dip. Serve it with plain pitas or crackers instead.

The pitas were great and I would definitely make again. But I've had better dips. My daughter says she would leave out the lemon and liked it better warm. I would leave out the bacon, but actually I think I'd just make a different dip.

Way too much marinating flavor from the artichokes and much too smoky tasted from the crumpled bacon. Not a big hit at all, nobody at the Christmas party liked it. A complete waste of money and food. Stick with the basic Spinach Dip receipe.

I made it a few hours before the party and it did get really thick and the bacon turned soggy. The flavor was okay, again good but not great.

The pitas however were a big hit.

Served this for Christmas Eve party. I felt is was too thick. My guests said it was good but not much was gone at the end of the night. They did like the pitas.

This dip was quite a crowd pleaser at our employee holiday party. After finishing the dip and doing a taste test, I added 1/4 cup mayonnaise for a little tang, and 3 Tbl. of milk to thin it out a bit. The seasoned pitas were the perfect accompanyment and made the entire dish complete in flavor. Thanks guys!

My dad absolutely hates artichokes, and groaned when I mentioned I was bringing this recipie to Thanksgiving. Imagine my surprise to see him with this on his plate numerous times!

It is fabulous, and I'm making it again tonight for another party.

Do give yourself time to make this, it isn't a last minute thing. But it is WELL worth it.
