I made some changes, I added ground turkey sausage (Italian to it, and I used the white sweet potatoes, they have a more intense flavor. Very VERY good!! definitely will do this one again!

There is nothing in this recipe that I don't love, but that being said--this was an average (at best recipe. We've made this two times now, thinking it was the potatoes' fault, but both times there wasn't enough sweet potato flavor & the spices were "meh." Will not try this a third time.

Great Dish! Easy to make for brunch. I've also added some garlic and shredded chicken and had it for dinner

I made this for dinner tonight and made a few additions. First, I diced the yams and baked them in the oven @ 400 for 30 mins before making the hash. I added diced chicken breasts, cilantro and chili powder to the mixture...then topped with a fried egg...delicious! Wonderful dinner!

I've made this for brunch when I have guests a number of times. It's always a huge hit. It's an atypical brunch dish and it's very flavorful.

I made this for a big family dinner. Got lots of raves over the Sweet Potato Hash. One person who previously only "loved" sweet potatoes "candied" with lots of sugar LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this recipe and couldn't believe that it was sooooo good without the extra sugar! I had to give her the recipe.

I had printed out this recipe a long time ago but never made it. Then when I was hosting a brunch, I wanted to whip something up that would require few ingredients but would still be something a little special. Flipping through my recipes I came across this one and decided I would make it. What a hit. My brunch guest and I couldn't believe how good it tasted. Since then I have made this recipe every weekend without fail. It's become my default breakfast dish for weekends.
The sweetness of the potatoes is perfectly matched against the smokiness of the cumin and zing of the red pepper flakes. Do yourself a favor and make this recipe today!!

I've made this recipe twice in a week, and it's turn out wonderful both times. I added tempeh to it for some extra protein and texture, and it makes a great entree that way. This recipe is very customizable as well, so you can add whatever you like or play with the quantities to suit your tastes.
