This was such a good way to use leftovers! my family was a little weary about eating "bubbles and squeak" but I convinced them to try it, and they loved it!

Traditional British Bubble and Squeak uses left over cabbage and fried onion too. It's the cabbage that makes the squeaking sound. Yummy with cold cuts and pickles.

My family uses a different take on this recipe. We use the left over turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoe the same, mix it up in a bowl, add an egg and make patties. Cover in shake n bake and fry.....my kids love them and so do we!
Give it a try after your holiday dinner, easy way to use up your leftovers and make the kids happy aswell.

Only used 1 cup turkey, only had 1 cup mashed potatoes, 1 cup stuffing and 1 cup corn casserole to make 7 patties. Could have made 10 smaller patties and they maybe would have stuck together better... Also didn't have the pan hot enough initially but will try again next year for sure and aim for a crispier crust! (And save more potatoes.

I made this last night for dinner to use up leftovers from Thanksgiving... WOW! This came out so good and is very tasty! I used leftover turkey breast, mashed potatoes and stuffing and was able to make 9 patties out of it. Like the other reviewers, I also dredged the patties in flour before frying them in oil. I also left out the corn puree, it's not necessary to have. We ate them dipping them in turkey gravy on the side too. Would definitely make again with leftovers next year. Fantastic!

I didn't add the turkey or make the puree, but I just used the stuffing, mashed potatoes and wild rice. It was amazing!

This has giving me a whole new look on leftovers. I have used it now 3 x?s- Once the way Danny suggested. Then with Turkey and Sausage stuffing, then my favorite with Ham, Gouda, chicken and potatoes. I double dipped that one, flour-egg-flavored bread crumbs. Leftovers have never been so loved in my home. Thank you Danny You ROCK!!!!

I just finished cleaning up the kitchen and my left overs. The bubble and squeak was teriffic! The nice light crunch from the flour was wonderful. This was so easy to make and a great way to finally finish those T-day leftovers. I fried mine in butter instead of oil, maybe as a nod to Paula Dean....LOL Either way this is great, I'm going to try it with leftover pot roast next. Peace Out Danny!

I made these this morning to get rid of my leftovers once and for all. I did dip them in flour like they showed on tv which gave tghem a light crispy outside. They are yummy. My husband has not stopped eating them since this morning. I think this will be a new leftover tradition in our house.
