I just finished cleaning up the kitchen and my left overs. The bubble and squeak was teriffic! The nice light crunch from the flour was wonderful. This was so easy to make and a great way to finally finish those T-day leftovers. I fried mine in butter instead of oil, maybe as a nod to Paula Dean....LOL Either way this is great, I'm going to try it with leftover pot roast next. Peace Out Danny!

I made these this morning to get rid of my leftovers once and for all. I did dip them in flour like they showed on tv which gave tghem a light crispy outside. They are yummy. My husband has not stopped eating them since this morning. I think this will be a new leftover tradition in our house.

I was caring for my 87 year old aunt who usually eats about 5 bites total per meal. I fixed the bubble and squeak and she ate two of the fairly large patties. I was ecstatic.

My sister made a variation on your Bubble and Squeak recipe, and it was delicious! What a great idea for leftovers. She made them with leftover chestnut stuffing and sweet potatoes. She added some flavored breadcrumbs to the mixture, diped portioned balls into egg, and rolled into flavored breadcrumbs again. She fried them up, and we enjoyed the leftovers even more than we enjoyed the original dishes on Thanksgiving Day. Yum! Thanks for the tip.

Just finished watching Danny prepare this and he dredged the patties with flour, both sides, before adding to the pan. It helped to give them a great golden crust. They looked fantastic and I will be trying these after turkey day!! The online version has omitted the flour. If anyone makes these and writes a review, pass this on so others can enjoy too! Happy Thanksgiving!!
