I've made this recipe twice for my family in the past two weeks, and they want it again ASAP. Great flavor from the green sauce, and they really liked the rice too. Thanks Danny!

I made these and my family really liked them. I shredded a roasted chicken from the deli, and made a double batch of the sauce (we love saucy! I didn't use mozzerella, but used Jack instead. "Authentic" enchiladas can get boring if you ask me, and if they taste good and have a little different twist; then Grandma-fire it up baby!

This recipe was A LOT of work for a disappointing payoff. Did not like the consistency of the sauce at all. Would not make again.

Maybe some of you from the Midwest to East Coast think this is authentic Mexican cooking, but you have no idea what Mexican food should taste like. I'm even surprised from the comment from the Texan who says she "knows Mexican food." Obviously, you don't. I have several Mexican cookbooks and have eaten at several Mexican restaurants. Enchiladas are one of my favorite Mexican dishes. NEVER have I seen in a cookbook or been served in a restaurant chicken enchiladas with bell peppers and motzerella cheese. That's ludicrous! Where are the Mexican seasonings in this recipe? There aren't any other than chili flakes which doesn't make it authentic Mexican. Maybe this woman's grandmother was from Rhode Island. And what can you expect from an English chef who studied in Switzerland and England?......certainly not AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!

Im love Mexican food, but I always had a tough time with non grilled Mexican dishes. Most of my dishes are Bobby Flay related.

    This is OUTSTANDING!!!!

The woman being rescued asked for help making her grandma's traditional enchiladas. Danny's recipe really bothered me. Maybe for a twist on a classic, but no one looking for authentic enchiladas would use mozzarella cheese or put peppers in the filling. He made a fajita filling not classic enchiladas. Food 911 was a much better show, with better recipes.

This recipe needed help. The green sauce had wayyyyy too much white pepper, I would shorten it to 1 tsp. of white pepper. The filling was so bland, and the rice was missing a whole lot of something........try Tyler Florence's recipe instead.....so much tastier, and the sauce was So much better.
