I used chicken tenders and made this into chicken tacos for my birthday this summer. Huge hit! Thanks Food Network and Danny :

This chicken was so tender and juicy! Great flavor. You have to try it!

I made this last week for a cookout we were having and everyone devoured it. I am not usually a fan of boring grilled chicken but this kicked it up a thousand notches. As always when marinating & grilling chicken, I highly recommend baking the chicken first for about 25 minutes at 350-375. Not only does this keep your grilling time down so you can enjoy your time in the pool, but it also helps the marinade to seep into the chicken since it's partly cooked. I have been doing this for years! This was so good I am making it again this weekend.

regardless of whether it is "authentic" or not, this is an excellent marinade & dipping sauce. easy to modify using what you have handy in the kitchen too. the finished sauce has a great kick that's a little delayed on it's arrival.

Jennifer in Las Vegas : DIid you know can buy Nando's sauce in the States at Cost Plus and various other grocery stores, or from their website:
    http://www.nandosusa.com/
    Piri
piri is made with Bird's Eye chilis. This is a flavorful marinade, but it's not piri piri.

I was so excited to see the show and make the recipe. I was thinking that it was going to be like Nando's in London which is a franchise of Piri Piri chicken. It didn't turn out like that but it was a good marinade. I'm not sure if I would make it again.

This is a good sauce and marinade. I could sit there and dip tortilla chips in the sauce and be in heaven. very good recipe. I let mine marinate for several hours and the chicken was extremely moist and quite yummy. Not too spicy either-- my 4 and 8 yr olds loved it

This will be a household staple!
