This recipe is a keeper! My boyfriend literally licked his plate clean this was so good. I used extra tomato paste and beef stock to round out the meat mixture and make it more saucy. I also made a couple changes to to cut down calories. I swapped beef broth for the cream in the mashed potatoes. Instead of mixing 1 cup of cheese into the potatoes, I topped the pie with cheese (using less than 1 cup. Even with the cut backs this was amazing and easy to pull together on a weeknight.

Easy, quick recipe. I've made it with ground turkey and added taco season. Just delicious!

Very good results. Recipe was straighforward and produced a very tasty meal. The family has asked for this to be in the "rotation".

Great base recipe. Just tweaked by adding fresh mixed herbs & a bit more beef stock with wine to get more gravy, doubled garlic & w.sauce... oh and used Bison as my store didn't have lamb and I thought the Bison would be a nice substitute for Lamb.

Didn't do the potatoes in the recipe. Made my own roasted garlic mash with russets. Yum.

This was a good recipe. The only thing I did different was use half turnips in the mashed potatoes. Kids can't tell and its more vitamins and less starch. YUMMY!
