This recipe is easy and tastes great. I'm not sure if I made the coffee too strong but the ladyfinger/coffee mixture was a bit too powerful. I'll use a milder coffee next time. I added texture and flavor by blending some Marscarpone cheese into the whipped cream mixture - yum!

This desert rocks. You want in good with the wife, etc. try this gentlemen...lol. No lie it is so easy even we can make it and it tastes fantastic. I couldn't find lady fingers at our local grocer so I substituted Nilla Wafers and they worked great. Two tips if you use them though. (1 make sure the espresso is room temperature or lower. (2 Break the wafers into halfs or 4ths at the most. (3 you can use rich instant coffee instead of espresso and it works just fine (make it double strong. For you non-drinkers...we substituted 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract and added it to the double instant coffee and it worked like a champ. Enjoy! Thanks again Danny!!!
