This just sounded sooooo good I have to give it a try. TG is only a week away. Been making notes for the past 3 hours. Now I will save it. it sounds sooo good, my mouth waters just reading it. I like the taste of Rum, but cannot drink it. I get horrible headaches. Thinking this will work ok. I will tweak it to suit my self. I never follow a recipe. WISH ME LUCK, WILL GET BACK TO YOU WITH MY OPINION AFTER THANKSGIVING. DON'T FORGET TO THANK THE LORD FOR ALL HE HAS GIVEN YOU...I KNOW I WILL.
HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF THE READERS OUT THERE.
AND TO ALL OF FOODNETWORK'S WONDERFUL CHEFS & THOSE BEHIND THE SCENES..........

I made the Rum Glazed Turkey and the dressing with apples as a change of pace from the same old Turkey and dressing, for Christmas 2008. It was came out GREAT. The turkey was juicy and the stuffing had just the right moistness (if that is a word. I never make anything precisely the way it is in a recipe but I stuck pretty close on this one, especially when it came to the glaze for the turkey. The glaze was so good I actually made it again as a topping over sauted plaintains...um um good!
