Made it with ground chicken & had to add a lot more spice. Kids loved it. Browning tortillas with turkey in them is awkward at best.

This simple, tasty recipe is so delicious! I was a little hesitant at first because there seemed to be so little spices but the cumin and onion is a perfect combo.

I added 1 1/2 tablespoons of cumin with plenty of salt and pepper. The taco meat is still a tad bland, but a good, quick recipe for ground turkey.

Loved the idea of frying the corn tortillas - great flavor! I had everything but the guac and sour cream just used light ranch dressing and it worked out perfect!

I love turkey tacos and was looking for a new way to make them.I used olive oil instead, but all in all this was a very tasty recipe. Thanks Darrell.:

I didn't stick to the recipe- switched canola for olive oil, made with this guacamole- http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/guacamole-recipe/index.html

    It's
the only way to do it. Also- nix the whole step where you put turkey in the taco before you cook the tortillas. It's a mess and a waste of time. Just fry up both sides of the tortilla and move on with your evening. Happy Tacoing.

Turned out to be a great turkey taco! However, it was tricky in the beginning to keep the taco folded without any meat falling out when you put it in the pan. Once the tortilla absorbed some oil and was warm it stayed put.

I made this tonight for dinner, and even my one year old loved it. The ground turkey had the perfect seasonings. I didn't have any guacamole so I just used diced avocado and added mango. This was absolutely delicious.
