Ingredients
- 1 russet potato
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
In a medium sized pot, cover the potato with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 40 minutes. Drain the potato, remove the skin and mash well in a large bowl. Add the butter, salt and pepper, to taste, and the garlic powder. Mix well until desired consistency is reached.
