We love this soup for rainy days and when one has a cold! We like our food spicey so I add more ginger and some Thai hot sauce or a few pepper flakes. Thanks Dave. I miss your show.

I love it. I didn't have any fish sauce, or fresh ginger, used ground ginger instead. It was great. I am thinking of adding a egg to it, sort of like a different spin on egg drop soup. This was great on the cold, rainy day we had today.

Soup came out great! I'm a vegetarian so I used vegetable broth instead of chicken. I also added more ginger at the end. Next time, I'll try adding tofu or seitan.

This is a great recipe to prep beforehand and cook right before eating. I didn't have snow peas but used baby bok choy instead. Worked great. Also added tofu. Next time I will try frying the scallions (or green onions in oil and a tiny bit of soy sauce and add it to the soup at the end. That will add a nice fragrance to this Asian soup.

this was so good! I halved it and didn't have cabbage so I used bok choy and it was full of flavor and healthy and wonderful!

I made this soup on an afternoon with temperatures outside at nearly zero! Not only did it smell good cooking, but is delicious served very hot. I found this is a soup you won't mind sipping slowly and enjoying the blend of tastes.
