I made these ribs three times and they were fantastic! The third time around, I adjusted the recipe a bit to suit our tastes:

2 hours in the oven to make the ribs more tender
No Dijon mustard (BBQ and mustard don't mix in our house
    Doubled the brown sugar
    1 Tbsp of garlic powder
2 Tsp of cayanne pepper and some dashes of Tabasco for a bit of a kick

...we like our BBQ more sweet with a bit of a firey background taste. This was juuuust right.

The recipe was delicious! The inside of the ribs were tender, while the grill added a crispy and flavorfull outside. The sauce was easy and had a unique flavor. All of our guest loved the ribs so much that we didn't have left-overs!

I saw this being made today and thought I could do that easy for tonite's dinner- Bought the ribs and my Bourbon and I was ready to go. It took all of 5 minutes prep- and then an hour in the oven, 10 minutes on the grill- and yummy yummy!!
A keeper! Great recipe Dave! thank you!

I will cook my ribs like this from now on, but I did not care for the sauce. I thought it was to thin and needed to be heated up to be thickened. I will do this again, but use my standard home made bbq sauce.

Just finished eating these tasty ribs, the b'bq sauce was perfect!! Will definitely make these again. Wonderful flavor, ribs were cooked to perfection. I'd like to try this sauce with chicken too.

This is it! The best and only way to make ribs. Succulent and delicious. I, like others, doubled the baking time but these were yummy!

    Thanks Dave!

Turned out great. Use a decent bourbon for the sauce and you won't be disappointed. We used the sauce on chicken and the ribs.
