I made this recipe with butter beans and kidney beans because that's what I had on hand and I highly recommend it.

My husband is a huge baked bean fan, however, recently had to go on a restricted diet. I took this recipe and used Splenda brown sugar, instead of the regular brown sugar, and used low fat bacon. Turned out delicious! I will definitely use this recipe again. Thanks, Dave!!!

Loved these baked beans so much, that it's now the regular side dish for our BBQ's.

I've made this recipe twice. The first time it was not too vinegary but the second time it was. Still, it's very easy to make and got good reviews. It's still my favorite recipe for baked beans.

This was not a hit at my house. They tasted like the ketchup and tomato sauce. Also, too dry. They need more moisture.

All anyone at my party could do was rave about these beans. Some say they are better than the real homemade ones. Great recipe.

This recipe produced the best baked beans I have ever had. I used a combination of pinto beans and kidney beans, and the results were fantastic.
