Loved this recipe! I have so much fresh basil around. I was a little worried that it would be a lot of herb flavor, I was wrong! It was perfect!

WoW! This is delicious and very easy to prepare. It's also pretty, but, watch out! It may outshine your main dish! It's a new favorite.

I just made this receipe and it turned out perfect. Everyone loved them and it was so easy. I am going to make these potatoes for my Holiday Dinners this year.

I've made this recipe serveral times, dairy and with substitutions non-dairy. For the dairy version I use milk instead of heavy cream, and for the non-dairy version, soy or rice milk instead of the cream and margarine instead of butter. I would advise against Smart Beat for this recipe bec. it makes the potatoes too watery. The potatoes are always a huge hit dairy or not, and there are never any leftovers. This is one of my staple recipes and one of my favorites... and the wonderful smell from the fresh basil just permeates the kitchen!

I was a bit skeptical of this recipe, but I have lots of basil to use from my garden so decided to try it. I really liked it! The herbs are lovely in the potatoes.

I made this dish as an accompaniment to Emeril's "mustard encrusted rack of lamb". The potatoes were easy and kept well in the warming drawer. The flavors of the chives and basil were fresh yet subtle. My friend who is a gourmet cook raved about them. They were almost as much of a hit as the lamb! This recipe will be in my "keeper" file.

These were a big hit! The recipe made a ton and all the leftovers were enjoyed. I substituted dry herbs for fresh with no sacrifice in flavor. I can't wait to make this again! Perfectly compliments chicken and steak.

This is such an easy and delicious side dish. When I can't think of anything else to cook for guests, this is my fall-back item.

I would use less cream and butter- add it as you see fit because otherwise it's not as thick as you may like. But rich and delish!
