My whole family loved this recipe. Listen to all of the reviewers who said to cut back the salt - I used 1 heaping Tbsp with much success. I also added cayenne pepper to taste. I didn't make the bbq sauce, just strained the pan juices over the meat(didn't want the garlic pieces in the meat. This was terrific!!

Excellent recipe !!! Kids and adults love it. I also used this same recipe with a Beef Brisket of the same size... Excellent as well.... Keep this one for all your backyard parties.

Made this the other day. My family loved it. The leftovers were great too. I did not have the dark beer so used just regular beer and it was good.

This is better than any pulled pork I've every had at any BBQ joint, even though it isn't smoked. It's tender, juicy, and flavorful.

Even though everyone was stuffed, they just kept going back for "one more" bite of pork.

The sauce made from the reduced cooking juices/beer is very tasty.

I've made this twice now and both times everyone commented on how delicious and moist the meat was. I had some of Emeril's Rustic Rub left over and I used that for the seasoning. Very easy to make.

I made this last night and it was delicious. However, I would agree with several other raters that it was too salty. I would put 1 TB of salt in the rub as opposed to 2 TB's. If it needs more you can always add it later.

I loved it... Although it was a little salty for me. My employees didn't think so. This will be used again, but I'll use less salt, a more mild beer and maybe even a little heat. Thanks for the love! ;o
