    My whole family loved this soup, even the kids. My son in law is very ill with cancer. He has a very difficult time eating. He ate this soup and loved it. It was so wonderful to see him being able to eat something and really enjoy it. I will make this over and over, on cold days. I have frozen the leftover soup and we haven't used it yet, but i think it will be good. Thanks.

    Soup is great. I'm not a fan of sour cream so I leave it out. However, chopped avocado goes great in the soup. This recipe is a keeper.

    This is very easy and the fresh cilantro gives it great flavor. I found that I actually liked it better the next day as leftovers.

    I am the queen of black bean and this recipe is awesome! Black bean soup should be smoky and the bacon does the job. It is a perfect recipe. I wouldn't change a thing. YUM!

    This has got to be the best black bean soup ever. Of course i added my own flavor but in all Dave did an excellent job on this soup recipe. I got so many compliments for it!

    This soup was so good. My husband and I both loved it. I have made other black bean soups before and this one doesn't even compare. It's simple and easy to make and it tastes delicious!
