This salad was part of my Cinco de Mayo menu and a huge hit. Made it in part because my parents in theirs 70's wanted to try avocado. They were fighting each other for the last bites of the salad.

I did add blue crumbeld blue cheese and used honey in place of the sugar in the viniagrette. Am not a fan of raw scallion/onion - tempered the scallions by soaking in lemon water for 10 minutes.

Will definitely be making this again and again. Was great with shrimp and chorizo quesadillas (I bake them.

I highly recommend this recipe. I left out the cilantro and added hard boiled eggs. It was great.

Great dressing! Light and flavorful. I didn't have Boston lettuce or nuts. I used Herb salad mix (dill, cilantro, argula, spinach, romaine, red lettuce, etc. The herbs added a nutty flavor to the salad. I also added Fetta cheese, which complimented the lime dressing. My husband doesn't care for mustard in salad dressings. He loved the salad overall.

My husband is a Ranch dressing lover, I got him to try this lime dressing and now he wants it all the time.

A very pretty salad with all green ingredients. The lime juice is a bit tangy so I add some honey to even it out. I've made this several times and it's a great base to adding other things like sliced radish, tomato, black beans or corn. I will try this with some crumbled cheese next.

Great salad dish - I sprinkled a pinch of baker's sugar on top after the dressing.

Make sure the dressing is well mixed before pouring.

Very easy, great presentation, and the lime dressing also makes a great marinade for meat.
