This was a great recipe. I used 3 turkey legs, added a bit of sugar and some oregano, and it turned out well! It takes a long time, but it was well worth it!

My husband watched Dave cook this on TV and said it looked good, so I gave it a shot. I left out the olives, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. The turkey was moist and flavorful with just a bit of sweetness. I liked it a bit more than my husband. He thought it tasted like most other braised poultry dishes, but nothing special. My two-year old enjoyed his portion.

This is the first recipe of Dave's that I've tried and it turned out great. The meal was very flavorful, prep was about as easy as it gets, and the ingredients were minimal. Even better was the cost.. I spent less than $15 and had enough food to feed 6. You can't beat that!

Next time around, I'm trying it with lamb...

    Thanks for this one Dave!

This dish has great flavor even though I overcooked my turkey legs - we really enjoyed it.

I did this in the crockpot after the initial braising and sauteing. After 5-6 hours I took the meat out and removed the bones and skin. I strained the remaining liquid and took off the fat. A little more work but healthier. I've made this several times and it's gone over with the family.

I made this in a crock pot instead of on the stove. The flavor seemed to cook out and the turkey seemed a little dry. I probably won't make this again.

I served this to the in-laws but substituted chicken thighs for the turkey. So delicious, everyone had seconds, even my toddler!
