Made these brownies for a function at the office -- gone in seconds. Everyone who tried them, even some folks who did not get a chance to taste them (but heard about them asked for the recipe. My college aged daughter took the recipe back to school with her so that she could make these for her friends. That is a great review/endorsement in and of itself!

I made these first thing in the morning, by the afternoon they were all gone. My entire family could not keep their hands off of them. Thank you!

I woke up Sunday morning and saw Dave making these brownies. I instantly got dressed and headed for the grocery store (in the snow to get everthing I needed. Let me tell you, these brownies were great! There was nothing left this morning but crumbs. The only issue I had with the recipe is it tells you to crumble the snicker bars in a food processer. Well, for some reason they were too hard for me to do that way. So I chopped them up like he did on the show. I had no problem getting them out of the pan or anything. This is a great recipe and will definitely be a staple in my bag of goodies.

After eight or nine attempts, I finally got these to come out PERFECT! If I followed it exactly, I always ended up with brownies that would turn into crumbs when you picked them up, and they would stick to the pan. So, I began trying variations.

To make them moist and chewy, decrease the amount of flour to just a little bit over 1/4 cup. I added in two pinches of instant espresso powder as well as 1 tablespoon Starbucks Coffee Liqueur. Instead of candy bars, I used a bit over 1/4 cup Guittard Cappuccino Chips, 3/4 cup Guittard Semisweet Super Chocolate, and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (after this was frozen for one hour, I ground the combination in my food processor. Then, I decreased the baking time to 20 minutes and ended up with moist, chewy, chocolatey brownies.

these are truly a yummy brownie. made these for the office and have had to make copies of the recipe for everyone. having the snickers bar in the mix makes them chewy. gess you could use a milky way bar if you could eat nuts. worth the time to make this recipe.

I have made these brownies on 3 occasions and all 3 times they came out perfect. The second time I switched the cocoa powder for carob powder which made the flavor a little different but still delicious. The third time I swapped the snickers for peanut butter cups. No matter what, this recipe is a cinch and they come out dense and chocolate every time.
