    I made the recipe on the grill, not the grill pan. I also had no anchovies in oil, but had anchovy paste. I mixed 1 teaspoon anchovy paste with 2 table spoons olive oil and the lemon. This was delicious! I am going to make it for lunch tomorrow!

    This was OK but I wouldn't go out of my way to make it again. The grilled romaine was interesting and tasty but the salad itself needed something a little more. Even added the anchovies! The classic Caesar is much better in our opinion. I think that toasted bread crumb idea might help it quite a bit. Maybe a few salad shrimp would help it.

    This salad is not only unique but delicious. Made as written but added toasted breadcrumbs sprinkled on top. Would not hesitate to serve to company. The whole family enjoyed this salad very much and all agreed we should make it again, soon.
