I just heated it up and added it on top of plain ham. Needed something in a hurry. Was delicious just like that!

The honey glazed ham I bought at Target came with it's own glaze packet, but I like to control the ingredients. My guests loved it. A friend had used the glaze that came with the ham and said it was too sugary. This was perfect. I will definitely use it again.

As we say down in Floria this ham was bustn', meaning that it was good. I used my Nu Wave Oven Pro, and it did somewhat tend to want to overcook the ham (I think because the setting was on high But I made the glaze exactly like David said except I use spicy brown dijon musturd. It had my best friend running around the house (Thankgiving Eve waking up people out of their sleep to taste the ham. She went crazy about how good it was. Its a sad fact but the glaze that come with hams just taste like syrup or sugary water. I actually made more glaze. I plan to make to hams this Christmas. Thanks a million Dav!

Definitely a keeper! Got rave reviews that this was just as good, or better (certainly cheaper! than a Honeybaked ham. Used raw honey instead of maple syrup, regular Dijon instead of whole-grain. Slathered the ham with the mustard and honey, then sort of packed the brown sugar, et al, all over with my hands. IMPERATIVE that you bake the ham cut-side down, or you'll end up with a big dry mess. Also, followed tip from Alton Brown and put an old dishtowel in the bottom of the pan, and cleanup was a breeze!

Best ham I ever had! I used 2 cups of apple cider instead of water. I doubled the glaze recipe and would paint it on about every twenty minutes. I also used a butt portion and made my own spirals. Next one will be a spiral ham because that was not very easy to do myself :^

Awesome ham!!! But how do you stop the glaze from burning up in the bottom of the pan and sticking up the house?

We have made this the past 3 Christmases to rave reviews each time. It can not go wrong. I have forgotten to buy the expensive pure maple syrup and had use whatever syrup we had onhand for waffles and pancakes and didn't notice any difference whatsoever in the taste.
