I just made this dish for our Sunday morning "special" breakfast and it was a huge hit! The rum/butter banana's are a perfect combination with the french toast. Not too sweet, not overly plain! We will definitely do this one again.

at low heat, these took a little longer than 12 minutes, but was well worth the wait since they were super fluffy!
i didnt get the chance to try the rum bananas, but am looking forward to it at another time!

I made a "New Orleans-ish" whiskey sauce with raisens soaked in wiskey. Transfer all the liquid and raisens into a small saucepan and simmer. Add 3T butter, a large spoonfull dark brown sugar and simmer on low heat-do not carmalize. After the alcohol is evaporated, and a few tablespoons of milk and simmer for a few more min. Awesome over the french toast.

I made these for my husband, and he LOVES them! He said this is a million dollar recipe! Now I have to make extras for him to take to work for his morning breakfast break.

These rum bananas are the best thing I have ever tasted and so easy to make. Definetly will make this again and again.

A basic how-to for french toast which is basicly great. A perfect way to make anything is to make it simple and basic.
