This wasn't a crowd pleaser. Lacked flavor...felt like I was adding A LOT of salt just to punch it up a bit. Won't make this again, I'm afraid.

Best chicken soup I have ever made. You can easily add whatever vegetables your family likes and make everyone happy. The smell during cooking is heavenly!!

I made this and it was deliscious! I would add more carrots, beans and garlic next time.

This is a great soup! I browned the chicken breasts first then cooked the veggies. It was really wonderful!

I literally signed up for food network just so I could rate this stew. I make it probably every other week during our raw New England winters.

I have made several variations and some of my favorites include using no potatoes and a little bit less of the shredded chicken (you can use any extra for a chicken salad the next day. This makes it a bit more of a soup rather than a stew. I also like using baby spinach or kale instead of green beans, but I've used all sorts of greens (snap peas, asparagus, whatever I had on hand and it all tastes great!

I also allow people to put their own amount of hot sauce in their bowls rather than adding it to the pot.

The only caution I have is that I have never been able to serve more than 4 people with one batch of this soup. Its just too good!!

At first glance, this didn't appear to be much more than a recipe for chicken soup. I don't care for anything really "brothy" as I prefer mostly meat, veggies, and pasta, so I stupidly threw in a package or orzo, which soaked up ALL of the liquid. Even with my dumb mistake, this was just great! I wouldn't change a thing.

I loved the combination of all of the ingredients but I still found it missing "something"...I added a can of chicken stock but still thought it needed something more.

Paula's The Lady's Chicken Soup is WAY better than this, because it has tons more seasonings and much more succulent meat and hearty vegetables. BELIEVE ME, its the BEST chicken soup anyone will ever have, so skip this one and head on over to hers!
